The technical audit that speaks business, too

Architecture, code quality, system reliability, DevOps practices: we analyze your engineering from top to bottom and link each finding to your business objectives.

Beyond the symptoms: the causes

Aging architecture, technical debt, brittle systems: these issues show up everywhere, but their root causes hide in the details. The code, the pipelines, the practices. Spotting them takes an expert eye and a proven method.

Our audit thoroughly analyzes your engineering stack (architecture, code quality, reliability, DevOps, and CI/CD practices) and translates each finding into prioritized recommendations aligned with your business objectives.

How does it work?

STEP 1

We start with your business reality

We start with what really matters: your business goals, your constraints, and what success means to you. This step sets the North Star for the entire process.

STEP 2

We go through your stack with a fine-tooth comb

We examine the fundamentals: the soundness of your architecture, the health of your code, and the robustness of your pipelines. A thorough assessment, backed by data.

STEP 3

We zero in on what moves the needle

There's no way to optimize everything at once. Based on this assessment, we identify the changes that will have the greatest impact and yield the best results as quickly as possible.

STEP 4

You'll leave with an operational plan

A concrete, prioritized, and costed roadmap aligned with your business objectives. A plan your teams can start implementing the very next day.

A 360° analysis, a roadmap ready for implementation

A comprehensive analysis of your architecture, code quality, and maintainability
An overview of your systems' performance and reliability
A prioritized improvement strategy that delivers immediate results and can be implemented right away
A quantitative demonstration of the potential impact of improvements on your value chain

We wanted something actionable, and that's exactly what we got.

Within a few weeks, we'd taken action on our CI/CD, our infrastructure, and our IT asset management, while clarifying the next steps to build into our roadmap.

Most asked questions

How long does a diagnosis take?

Between 3 and 6 weeks, depending on the size of your organization and the number of teams involved. This is a deliberately streamlined format, designed to provide you with actionable results quickly, without tying up your teams for months on end.

What level of involvement is expected from my teams?

Their involvement remains light and focused, so your teams can stay focused on their work. Expect 4 to 6 workshops lasting 2 to 3 hours each, with the right people at the right time. The first workshop brings together those responsible for the project and its objectives; for subsequent sessions, we bring in the right people on an ad hoc basis, depending on your context and needs. Between workshops, we handle everything, and we return to each meeting with our findings and recommendations. You get the most value out of each workshop, not just from a final report.

What sets your approach apart from a standard technical audit?

Most audits only do half the job: they examine a specific issue and list what’s wrong. What’s missing is the bridge between technology and business. We link each finding to your goals, so that you walk away not with technical fixes, but with a growth plan aligned with what success means for your organization.

Is it worth it if my teams are already performing well?

Often, it is precisely the high-performing teams that derive the most value from the process. Once the obvious gains have already been realized, the next areas for improvement become harder to identify from the inside. An external, structured perspective reveals the subtle obstacles that go unnoticed in day-to-day operations and shows you where the next level of performance lies.

Do I need to give access to my code or my tools?

For the technical audit, yes. The analysis of the architecture and code quality is part of the scope. Access is granted on a targeted basis, limited to relevant portions only, and within a SOC 2 Type 2-certified framework. For the delivery component, we rely on metadata (epics, issues, pull requests), not on the content itself.

Should we already be using certain practices or tools?

There are no prerequisites. We work with teams at all levels of maturity, using a wide variety of tools, and our approach adapts to each specific context. Our job is precisely to start right where you are.
